Adopt a Grandparent Program
Vision: Connect senior adults through broad base of social networking activities to improve psychosocial abilities and foster a means to enhance their connectivity with family, friends and make new social connections.
This program is designed to assist elderly individuals that find themselves alone with limited ability and resources to contact the outside world. Our volunteers adopt a senior as their Grandparent and will spend time with them during weekly visits doing some or all of the following:
- Computer Usage (networking, games, social avenues, etc.) Note: computer may be
supplied for those individuals who can not obtain one by themselves.
- TV and Games
- Shopping Excursions
- Contacting/Socializing With Family
- Assistance In House Cleaning

How Our Programs Work
Each Outreach, Fund Raising Event and Program is assigned a dedicated Program Lead and Volunteer Staff to support the development, launch and management of the vision. The following outline of objectives is used to execute each program:
1) Identify and Outline Community Event, Program or Fund
This is the vision identification process for each and every program.
We not only make decisions on exactly what the new program will be,
but also what is to be the expected impact by its implementation.
2) Program Team Infrastructure Creation
Here we design a functional organization and develop the complimentary
staffing duties that best support the vision and program.
3) Project Plan Development
The program team answers the questions who, what, where, when and
why as they apply to obtaining the desired results from the vision.
4) Environment Resource Needs and Opportunities Evaluation
We seek out and identify possible activities, teams, individuals,
companies, target markets, etc. who would be most likely to support the
5) Implementation Plan Development
Program Team utilizes all pertinent information and data that's been
collected to develop a powerful implementation strategic plan.
6) Program Execution and Management
This is the exciting launch and management of the program! But getting
the program started is just the beginning. Once under way, each program
is continually developed and enhanced so as to further meet our community
