Each and every time we launch a new Outreach Program at HOPE we start with a New Functional Organization and Volunteer Staff. Positions are interviewed for and obtained based on applicants learning potential and capabilities. Volunteers for these rewarding positions not only help their communities, but also receive professional mentorship and develop meaningful professional relationships!
"Adopt A Grandparent" Program
Vision: Connect senior adults through broad base of social networking activities to improve psychosocial abilities and foster a means to enhance their connectivity with family, friends and make new social connections.
This program is designed to assist elderly individuals that find themselves alone with limited ability and resources to contact the outside world. Our volunteers adopt an elderly individual as their Grandparent and spend time with them during weekly visits.
Current Available Positions:
Chief Program Director: (Currently seeking volunteer applicant)
Oversee complete management of this exciting program and volunteer staff. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Establishing goals for the program, directing the team to meet the personnel objectives of the program, ensuring the development of annual marketing plan, ensuring sound financial management, assuring Team is properly led and motivated, acting as primary leader in establishing service goals and acting as final authority in resolving issues, ensuring that goods and services required by the team are purchased at the lowest price possible and the terms and requirements are in the best interest of the organization, ensuring that team maintains an efficient operation and that the generally accepted practices are in place, backing up the essential functions of the program, Perform other tasks and duties as necessary and in keeping with the role of Chief Program Director.
Marketing Director: (Currently seeking volunteer applicant)
Professionally develop and manage a non-profit marketing department for this program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: organization of activities and events, seeking out partners, associates, supporters, charitable contributions, individuals, companies and non profit organizations for support, enhance the image and public awareness of HOPE Community Development Outreach, Inc. in all markets, formulate and develop new methods of generating Organization Relationships and Revenue, while continuously seeking and developing new markets, partners and volunteers.
Operations Director: (Currently seeking volunteer applicant)
Develop, oversee and implement the operations of this exciting program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: providing the necessary planning, organization, direction, and emphasis on quality services to meet the established organizational objectives, provide expertise by assisting in the formulation, development, and implementation of operating strategies and policies. He/she must guarantee the growth and success of the Organization by ensuring that all operations volunteers meet or exceed established guidelines, provide ongoing support and expertise to all operation management personnel, assisting them in establishing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for all service dependent systems.
Administrative Director: (Currently seeking volunteer applicant)
Develop, implement and oversee all needed administrative planning and actions. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: personally handles all critical and confidential aspects of organization administration, makes known policies and procedures to be followed by all program personnel, responsible for accuracy of new or revised standard procedures, performs research and other projects as requested, investigating company policies and procedures, exploration of alternative courses of action and formulation of recommendations including development and modification of current systems or organization direction(s), maintains accurate orderly files in confidential manner, phone support, faxing, mail and mailings, ensures safety and security of company computer files, supply all copies and forms as needed, misc. ordering by request, assist in letter writing as requested, receive and handle customer service calls, call appropriate individuals concerning schedules and any
schedule changes as appropriate, collecting messages and communication there of.
Finance Director: (Currently seeking volunteer applicant)
Manage and facilitate the finances required to run and maintain this exciting program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: process and direct all financial activities in such a manner as to ensure accurate and timely reporting consistent with generally recognized and approved accounting practices and principles, protect the financial assets of the Organization, assure the smooth and efficient flow of information, accurate and timely completion of all related financial functions, credit, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow forecasting and management, ensures all financial records are maintained in a manner acceptable to governmental regulatory agencies, preparation of forecasts and budgets, performs program planning in conjunction with other managers, performs capital expenditure analysis.
Personal Associate: (Currently seeking volunteer applicants)
Become a Grandson or Granddaughter to a Senior in need. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Computer Usage & training with senior: networking, games, social avenues, etc. (Note: computer may be supplied for those individuals who can not obtain one by themselves), TV and Games, Shopping Excursions, Contacting/Socializing With Family, Assistance In House Cleaning, Etc.
